Today we are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. 30 years ago today my husband (Bill Hewitt) proposed to me at The Quiet Woman - in the bar. We thought we would come back and celebrate 30 years of marriage!

Rewind the clock…many years ago, The Quiet Woman did not do “take out food”. My husband wanted us to go out for dinner and I was tired, had a long day at work and said I didn't feel like going out. He called The Quiet Woman and said I was 9 ½ months pregnant and all I wanted was a rack of lamb and if they would please do a take out for us. They did! I was not actually pregnant by the way. 2 weeks later my husband said “let’s go to The Quiet Woman for dinner”. I said “no way” was I going to show up there as they would expect me to have a baby in my arms!
